Both buttons are round metal, 2 ¼" diameter with safety pin clasp. Our Logo button incorporates four symbols of Turkish culture: the Turquoise color, stylized ‘Tree of Life’, ‘Evil Eye’ and the Tulip (Lale). The ‘Hand of Fatima’ pays tribute to the Middle Eastern dances in our repertoire. Our Minjik (Pronounced Min-jick) button is a phonetic spelling of the Turkish word for ‘kootchie-kootchie-koo’ parents say to their infants. Border reads “Fan of Turkish Style Dance – Minjik – Dans Askina”. |
